How often do you grocery shop?
A friend and I were just talking about this, and it seems everyone is pretty different. I wait until Superstore has a coupon for a gift card or a percentage off and do one big shop for non-perishables every one or two months. I shop for produce and meat every one to two weeks. Not sure if this is the best game plan or not. I'd like to hear how everyone else plans their grocery trips

Once a week usually. I go out once a week and stock up on non-perishable or freezable sale items, as well as the produce, dairy and miscellaneous items needed for the week. Some weeks I'll spend $80, some weeks I'll spend $10, occasionally I don't go at all.
I never use those Superstore coupons, usually you have to spend $200 at once and there is never enough on sale at the same time as the coupon to justify me spending that much in their store. There are much cheaper stores here.

I do a once a month stock up at Aldi that cost around $130 to $150. I fill in the rest at a couple different stores. I would say I go weekly and then a couple nights a week I have my dh stop in to grab bread or soy milk or something simple on his way home from work.

I end up going into Publix several times a week. Just works that way. I'm already out doing banking or something for the business and it's right there. Thursday I stop in and get the sale paper, look and walk around. Then Friday or Monday I do my big shop. Then if the BOGO's were REALLY good stuff we use I usually end up one more time for the better ones especially if I've rounded up more coupons. This week was one of the best yet and I'll probably go back after I hit the internet and print out more c/o's. I actually saved more than I spent today.
Bank of America is THE godfather of Hell with Wells Fargo running neck and neck. When the world ends the only things that will be left are cockroaches, Walmart, Wells Fargo and Bank of America. Not necessarily in that order. The order remains to be seen.

This time of year I 'usually' go once a week, it will depend on the sales but I am buying for holiday baking. I get my ads on Tuesday. I look at them that evening. The ads start the next day and if things are on sale that I need/want I will go before the weekend.
In summertime........I go when I am out of milk! Period......then will get all that has 'accumulated' on a list that I keep.

Usually I shop once a week at Publix. Occasionally I go back if I run out of milk or fresh produce.

Wesley and I grocery shop biweekly. It works out really well and has helped us keep our grocery $$ in line.

I shop weekly. Generally on a day I have been to work. The store is 30 miles away so I'm sure not going multiple times.

Once a week ($50-week for 2 adults). Now that we have a large amount of food in storage, the food dollars are spent on replenishing things at the lowest possible price, which means I rely on loss leaders and discounted store items a lot. I do all my grocery shopping and running errands once a week to save on gas.

Exactly like grainlady except our $$ amount is much larger w/ 4 people 2 of which are teens. I have been going constantly lately grabbing 6 of this and 12 of that but our pantry is full of dry goods. I keep a "wish" list of more expensive foods that go on clearance occasionally. I will shop only lost leaders and perishables all winter and prob. thru May. I shop them all too. Aldi's,vg's,meijer, big lot, several $$ stores,Kroger and Tenutas. My rule is to shop while I'm already out so I can save the gas too. I figure this is my job.

~I shop the major grocery stores once a month. DH stops at Aldi on his way home from work 3-4X a month to get the fill in items and perishables.
In the winter months I usually shop the major stores twice a month because the sales are so good. I stock up enough to make the once a month trip doable for the rest of the year.~
