    Close. I was raised in Wheeling (so the wrong Panhandle) and went to Morgantown for school. Love the area - hope to retire there.

    where? wheeling? or morgantown? I've never been to wheeling. and if you like mountains, you'll like morgantown!

    Um - yes - I love both. But actually I hope to retire to the eastern panhandle or western MD one day.

    I was raised 45 minutes north of Wheeling, barely in WV.

    I am now in the mid Shenandoah Valley-1.5 hours north of Roanoke. I LOVE it. Beautiful!
