I've just moved back to the Chicago land area with my family and looking for other young mom's to talk to. I have two small children, and my husband works quite a bit so we don't get out too much. Please let me know if you're interested in creating a friendship.

Hi Lesley!

Ok, not to sound cheesy...but I'll give you my "basic info". My name is Sarah, I'm, um, well...let's just say I'm in my 20's ( ), I have 2 boys, 4 1/2 & 7. We are in DeKalb, which is about 60 miles south of Chicago.

Check out your area for some mom's groups. If you can't find one, start one. I started one in our area by simply making a yahoo group for us, and asked the newspaper to run a story. They did and I got a great response from local mom's. It sounds like alot of work, but it's not at all. We set up a weekly picnic in the park and everyone comes when they can, and it is awesome. I've made some great friends and get some adult conversation!

I'm not super close to you, but hopefully you can find someone local to you!
