We are gonna build!!

I am so scared and excited!!

We are gonna build a house! We are in MN now and are gonna build in WI. We will getr more land for our $ there and not to far from were we are now.

So any hints tips stuff you wished you had in your house or something you just love and think everyone should have.

I get to do this the way I want (with in reason) and this will be our house till we die. So I don't want to wish I had something that I just didn't think of at that time.

Congrats! No suggestions here we've never built a house. I've lived in the same one for most of my life. I can think of millions of things that I would do differently here though!

We've bought and sold more than I want to remember and one of the most important things is CLOSET SPACE!! You can never have too much, but it's important to use each square foot. You can put storage space in the neatest places.

Also, we have an extra room in this house and we use it as a playroom. The kids have to remove all "extra" toys from their room each night and put in the playroom. It keeps the rest of the house neat.

A pantry really helps if you cook alot or keep full cabinets.
