- Rep Power
I'm posting this under miscellaneous since it's not really a cake in the truest sense. Kids usually enjoy making it, fun to make for birthday parties, etc. I've made them to take in for work functions and everyone enjoys and wants the recipe. More for the novelty than the actual taste, I think.
4 quarts popped white corn, plain (I use an air popper. Some people have used bags of store bought popped corn).
1 stick margarine
1/2 cup oil
1 16-oz bag small marshmallows
1 10-oz pkg. M&M's
1/2 cup peanuts
Melt margarine, oil, marshmallows. Pour mixture over popped corn. Add M&M's, peanuts. Mix well with hands. Pour into well greased angel food cake pan. Let it set for at least 2-3 hours then turn out onto plate.
I've used seasonal M&M's for holidays. I've also made this in mini muffin cups for individual servings. Just a fun thing to serve.
