Mellow Monday 9/29
Well I've been up and going for a couple of hours already this morning but I am forcing myself to move at a lesisurely pace. I am going to try and really "smell the roses" on this vacation.
So far:
rolled in the hay
(maybe TMI but I usually leave well before the house wakes up so my day never gets to start on a good note like that)
made coffee
started laundry
got DH off to work
DS#1 off to school
Started sanding the spackle
taking a break on the village
To go: (maybe)
~The one thing that I picked for today to get done is sanding this first coat of spackle on the new kitchen wall ceiling. This is the only thing I'm going to hold myself to.
~Dinner
Possibilites:
~chat some more on the Village
~finish laundry
~bake something
~grocery shop
~finish my book
~purge a drawer
~shop for living room furniture
I'm looking foward to taking my time whistleing through the day. What's on your agenda????Hope everyone elses is looking up as well.

I am not feeling that great today, so I am off to a slow start.
Today I need to:
Pack for our move next week
Wash whites
Take leftover yard sale items to Salvation Army
Cook dinner
Go to Bible study
It is a short list, the first item will take all week. My DH is home this afternoon so I need to take advantage for him being here. He is also home tomorrow afternoon, but we need to go to Iowa City and clean out my office tomorrow. The drive time alone on that will be 90 minutes total.

I got up at 5:30 and watched the news
Got the kids up, made breakfast and packed lunches
Folded a load of clothes
Took the kids to the bus
Walked on the treadmill
Ate a healthy breakfast
Took a shower
Went to town to run errands
Washed three loads of laundry and hung them on the line
Ran two loads of dishes through the dishwasher (dh and kids home all weekend while I worked........need I say more??)
Picked up in the kitchen and living room
Ate a healthy lunch
Still need to.........
Run another load of dishes through the dishwasher (how DID they dirty so many in two days????)
Clean off the kitchen counter tops
Sweep and mop the kitchen floor
Make homemade chili for dinner
Dd will get the laundry in and fold it
I have also played on the computer in between everything else LOL! I tell you, walking on that treadmill first thing in the morning just makes my day go so great! I feel energized and happy and ready to tackle the world!
