    Default Miserly Monday - Aug 6/12

    Its still the weekend here, gotta love long weekends DH is chillaxin' watching tv and I'm just puttering about. Both of us are in lounge clothes with full cups of coffee.

    Dinners gonna be grilled but we haven't decided one exactly what yet.

    Today's all about taking it easy.

    Went grocery shopping, animal shopping, and stopped at dollar tree and walmart for some flash drives. Not very frugal but the flash drives were on sale and I did need pet food and lucked out at dollar tree since they had t-shirts on sale. One plus is that I had two coupons for free cat treats.

    Spent an hour chopping veggies, cutting up meat and browning it to put in crockpot for beef stew. Really smells good in here and have a ton of stew. Will divide up and freeze. I purchased london broil since it was the cheapest beef I could find. Luckily it seems to be softening up.

    This week is going to be a spend week. Ok, since the rest of the month will be spending on just the necessities.
