I did it, I did it, I did it! Did my last little shop for July, spent $57.05, some of which was a stockpile on boneless chicken breasts on sale, and came in under goal.... $575.60 for the month. (600 was my goal.) I cannot remember the last time I spent this little. Usually $700 is a huge accomplishment for my family of 7 plus a dog. I even had to restock three different cleaning supplies, which I always do in bulk so a little investment there into future months. I did have a good supply of meat in my freezer (but didn't touch my turkey or ham purchased on sale at holiday time- too hot to cook those this month), and my garden has been producing like crazy, so we've been eating whatever veggies I can pick out of my own yard.

WTG mommyoffive. I spent another $8.49 today on milk and chicken.
That should be it for this month which means I came in under budget.

Cranked it down another $15 dollars for August. I started at $600, and I spent less than $400 in July, so I am optimistic that I can make my goal!

It seems that I took the summer months off - and that doesn't work for me - so starting Saturday - I am keeping track of each $ spent on food. Goal this month is $400. Feel more mentally reading for August!!

Spent $37.14 today on groceries. I usually spend $40 per week. Next week, I plan to challenge myself to only spend $20 in groceries!

Walmart and Kmart used to sell them...Did they quit?
Bank of America is THE godfather of Hell with Wells Fargo running neck and neck. When the world ends the only things that will be left are cockroaches, Walmart, Wells Fargo and Bank of America. Not necessarily in that order. The order remains to be seen.

I want the ones that are hour glass or all in one, The other ones, leak and the new ones are almost like disposable which would help alot.

Going to set my goal for $600 again for the month of August. If I can do that two months in a row, I know I'm on track for greatness.
