Just under $145.00 yesterday. Hopefully that will last a while.

Spent all the grocery budget on dining out on vacation! DH said today not to worry...we only have 1 1/2 days and we'll be going home!

Had a great shopping trip today.

Spent $49.27 for the week, and saved $20.55. I would have only spent $39.27, but forked up the extra $10 to pick up my groceries instead of doing the shopping myself.

Spent $85.10 yesterday. Mostly on stockpile items. Bartered with some friends of ours for some meat so we have enough meat for at least a month which freed up some money for stockpile.

Well that was no good! Got paid Thursday and had the grocery money all spent and then some by Saturday! Meat was on sale so I stocked up. Ordered half a lamb from a local farmer. We did buy organic produce for the first time in a long while. We have a lot of food in the house. Must start eating what we have and stop spending...

I've spent an extra $60 or so this month, but I have meat through to the end of November at least!

I'm totally out on this challenge until at least 3 weeks from now, after everyone is done visiting us LOL. I haven't been doing too badly, considering all of the company we've had...but I haven't tracked it as carefully as I would have liked. So....here's to being under budget in December

Hit the Farmer's Market today and found a couple of pumpkins! Yippee! I can't find them anywhere else. This guy actually had them tucked away. I have to wait for them to ripen yet. They're a little late. But I got them! Homemade pumpkin soup, pumpkin pie and my special low fat cinnamon buns (with pumpkin in them) coming up!

However I have to check the grocery budget and see what's left. I spent a lot of money at the market today.

Spent $75 today. Will be overbudget this month but I forgot to take in account having company for three weekends. That really ate up our budget this month. I also stockpiled quite a bit of baking supplies for Christmas.
