I bought a massive 5 inch binder last night and some trading card sleeves. I started sorting last night and work on some today. I need to be ready for tomorrow's q's.

I went to town with DH today. He had to stop by Home Depot which is located in the same shopping center as Target. I had my coupons with me so I asked him to stop by there as well. I found a few things we needed.

    Spent - $15.57
    Saved - $20.75

I also wanted to share this savings tracker for 2011 that is FREE to download. It is more detailed than the one DH created for me. You can download it in Excel or Google docs.

I'm in...hopefully I can keep track better thank last year. I,too, quit mid year.
I count coupons, store promos/sales that show on register receipt, rebates, BOGO's, etc.
Any money saved is in my pocket
Bank of America is THE godfather of Hell with Wells Fargo running neck and neck. When the world ends the only things that will be left are cockroaches, Walmart, Wells Fargo and Bank of America. Not necessarily in that order. The order remains to be seen.

Today I started going through a huge pile of coupons from the past month and just looked at DealSeekingMom.com and saw that tomorrow's paper is supposed to contain a TON of new coupons! I usually pick up my grandma and aunt's copies but now I may have to pick up another couple of copies on my own! I figure the amount I save in coupons clipped MORE than pays for the cost of the paper!

Went to Walgreens, CVS, and Target today. I wouldn't have spent so much at Target but I bought socks and 3 packs of the $1 Uno Anniversary cards (will put up for stocking stuffers).

    Walgreens --
    Amount before coupons - 63.99
    Total paid - 10.80
    Amount saved - 53.19

    CVS --
    Amount before coupons - 39.19
    Total Paid - 11.38
    Amount saved - 27.81

    Target --
    Amount before coupons - 45.19
    Total paid - 21.84
    Amount saved - 23.35

Total saved at all 3 places - $103.73

    Lesson learned --
Take advantage of sales and combine them with coupons!!

I have not yet been to the store, but I am already hyped. While waiting in the airport for our flight home this morning, someone boarding the flight ahead of us left the entire paper he had been reading, and I picked it up to read it. I found that all four sets of coupons were still in the paper, so I got my first group of coupons for 2011 completely FREE before I even begin using coupons. :-)

In, again. I saved almost $1275.00 in coupons in 2010. We'll see what happens in 2011...
