Thanks melina! And we can't wait to see you posting your grocery deals

Over the weekend I spent about 30$ and got about 130$ worth of groceries in the process. Of course that's store markup but it feels nice to think I saved 100$.

Here's the haul I brought in over the weekend (took about 5 trips , 4 at ralphs, one at Raley's)

I used a coupon on everything but the first two items, and the produce.

.53lbs Long Grain Brown Rice (40 cents)
    .25lb Bulk 4grain cereal (17 cents)
1 Green Leaf Head of Lettuce
    1 Celery Bunch
    1lb Strawberries
    2.56 lbs Banana's
    4 Large Navel Oranges
3 Boxes Gortons breaded fish fillets (6ct. each)
6 Boxes Fisherboy Fishsticks (16ct. each)
4 Boxes Boca Spicy Chik N Patties (4ct. each)
    3 Jenni O Turkey Bacon 12oz. each
1 Swiss Cheese Block (7 ounces)
1 Buddig Honey Turkey slices 2.5oz
2 Welchs Grape Jelly (22oz. each)
2 Cartons Bryers Ice Cream (half gallon each)
4 Boxes Lean Pockets pepperoni pizza (2 in each)
1 6) Roll Pack Ralphs Papertowels
    1 Foster Farms 16oz. Bacon
2 Kellogs Raisin bran 15oz. each
2 Loaves Honey White Sara Lee Bread
2 Packages Oscar Mayer Bologna (16oz each?)

So my total before coupons was around 127 and total after was around 30.

Bringing my monthly total to 54.77
    Goal this month of 200$

Ran in for the last day of this weeks sales...

    Got:

a jumbo pack of Huggies Supreme diapers
    5 large navel oranges
    3 large banana's
    4 boxes fishsticks (free)
    1 bottle welch's grape jelly
    1 buddig turkey lunchmeat
    total before was around 23$
    total after was 9.79 $

The best thing was I talked to the asst. manager at Ralphs that gave me a rough time last time when I had the split order. I joked about only having 'just two items' this time He was real sweat about it and so I feel so much better aboug going back there now! Yay!

What's even better is I have been spending cash on groceries and I got everything we really needed and I had JUST enough
Thank goodness we had TONS of cans to recycle, we got about 39 bucks from them!!! That's the most we've ever got at one time! Thank god I wait to turn them in for a rainy day!!

    Hi again!!!!
Today I spent $20 on groceries and had spent about $30 over the weekend. My goal was $200 for the month and I've now spent $100 of it.
I found some great deals today though:
    Cabbage @.19 a pound (I bought 5 heads)
    Jakada-Free after coupon
5 pound bag of Granny Smith apples @$3.68
5 pound bag of tortilla chips for $3.98
    oranges @.48 a pound
a huge institutional size can of nacho cheese sauce for $6.98

My kids just about flipped out when they saw the huge bag of chips and nacho sauce. They insisted that we go and show them to their Daddy at work! LOL! He was just a bit excited also and wants nachos for dinner now!!!
