    Total spent now: 34.41

I think I'm going to do my next big trip earlier than normal. We just really need things like bread, tic tacs, sliced cheese, and more fruits/veggies.

Okay, I did a mini-shop today, since I had dh do the regular shop on Thursday. I am probably going to go to a different store this afternoon because they have triple coupon coupons in their circular, and I can use 5 of them, so there are some things I'll get there since I can get them for almost free. So far, so good, though!

    Goal: $130
    Total: $24.33

I've set my goal for $300.00 but really want to keep it lower. So far I've spent $15.00.

    Hi all,
This weekend we celebrated my in-laws 50th Wedding Anniversary and stayed with my BIL and SIL overnight. They live right down the road from Big Lots and the Hostess Thrift Store so...I went shopping! LOL! Between the 2 stores I spent $18.00 on food items. There were coupons at the Hostess store, so we did really well there and it was double punch day! Woohoo!
Here's what I got combined from both stores:
    2 jars of minced garlic
    2 Hansens flavored waters
    1 Hansens tea
4 huge packages of Pepper Gravy mix (makes 4 cups of gravy)
    1 snack size cheezits
2 huge loaves of Wonder bread
    4 packages of english muffins
2 family size boxes of donuts
    1 box of twinkies
    3 boxes of cupcakes
    2 pkgs of farfalle pasta

    Goal: $200
Spent: $24.00 (I rounded up to make it easier)
    Left to spend: $176.00

Oh boy. I really need to do this even though I stink at it. I better get better soon, since I'm going to be off work for a while.

My house is trashed. I can't "nest" here, so I think I'm doing it at WM instead, lol.

I'm still going for $200, even though I've already spent $124 - after using $90 in coupons.

My best deals were of course the free Lysol wipes, Pace Enchilada sauce and Red Fusion. I got 2 L bottles of sprite for .24, cans of tuna for .28, Lipton soup mix for .29, Pantene for 1.34, toothbrushes for .38, Juicy Juice for .99

Heather- Ayla will be a clean little girl for quite awhile with all those baby wipes! And... you'll have fresh smelling breath with thos Tic tacs!

Karen- I love your comment about "nesting" at Walmart! Too funny! I remember how messes used to drive me nuts when I got close to my due dates with my boys. I'd try and find a "clean" and organized place to go to. I ended up at the librabry alot!

Cornelia-enjoy your strawberry plants! I'm going to try and get a few more to replace some of the ones I lost this winter from a friend. One of my favorite morning activities is going out to pick fresh strawberries for breakfast! YUMM!!!!

I've got to do a big shopping trip here at the end of the week. Hoping the dog and cat food last until then!!! If not, then I'll have to make an emergency run in.

I did the rest of the shopping for the week due to Stop & Shop's 10 triple coupons and matching some sales with coupons I hadn't seen before at ShopRite. I mailed in both receipts for refunds before doing this, so I don't have a detailed list of all I bought, but the total before coupons and rebates was $70.26 and the total after all that was $30.69.

    Today's Total: $30.69

    Goal: $130
    Total: $55.02

    Hi All,
I decided to do some shopping today since we were in dire need of kitty litter, dog food and cat food! LOL! I always include the cat and dog food in my grocery budget because it is a food item for our fur babies.
So we can add another $40.00 to my total so far this month. I did manage to get some great deals today. I had B1G1F Act 2 popcorn coupons and was able to get 6-8 packs of them for the $6 total at Walmart. I would have gotten more, but they are now limiting each customer to one "printed off the internet coupon" per shopping trip. The cashier did let my sons that were with me each make one of the purchases so we could use 3 of the coupons. I made money on some pantene coupons (.50 each profit). I found mangos on sale for .19 each at Winco and cucumbers 4/$1 at Rosauers. I also found deoderant clearanced at $1 each and one of the Olay cuticle sticks for $1. Woohoo!!!!

    Goal: $200
    Spent:$64
    Left to Spend: $136

    Not bad!!!!

I'm wanting to raise my goal amount to $500 and include May since shopping is becoming more of a chore with this baby being due soon. I have been unable to stock up on meat, no one has had any good sales until this week. We ordered a 70# bundle that includes a little of everything for $146, ($2.08/lb, which seems high to me). A friend of dh is going to cut it for us, so we'll probably end up with a little more and it is very good meat. I wish I'd have gotten a case of little diapers when I was at Sam's the other day.
