Our budget this year for groceries is $220 a month.
We cook mostly from scratch. Most of my shopping is done at Aldi's plus local salvage stores. I don't include household or toiletries in this shopping. We use the envelope system for budgeting so I have separate envelopes for those expenses.

1/19: $125/$180. I spent $9 today at CVS on groceries but used almost $15 in coupons and Extrabucks, so that was a good trip.
