January ends under budget. Keeping budget same for February. I plan to use the crock pot and cook double or triple batches and freeze. London broil in the crock pot was pretty good. I will make another Target pantry order, I like their prices and free delivery.

I wasn't doing too bad, just a smidge over budget. Then....... a store I stopped at out of town had tomato products on sale so I did my 6 month stock up on those. Oh well, next month is another day.

    January: $175/$166.

We’ll continue with the low budget and mostly eating from our pantry and freezer in February, so I got some ekstra things on sale and knew I went slightly over budget. I didn’t buy candy and snacks in January. Made caramels with cream I got on sale and baked cake, cookies, and a form of crisp bread sprinkled with salt instead. Got a lot of butter on sale in December.

DD working is more steadily so I am dropping the budget to $450. and see how that goes. She still has a huge pantry to raid.

Will keep Feb budget at $250, food only for 3 adults. Did my weekly shopping on Sat and spent $48. I'm starting to see holes in my freezer and I would like to make even more room in there.
