Went over again but only because we were expecting bad weather and I knew I would be stuck at home for several days so what I bought on that day should have been purchased in March. It all works out. I'm going to keep it at $250 month, food only for 3 adults.

Blew our budget in February. It was a mix of overspending and sales on things we use a lot. I’m going back to using cash this month. My budget is $165 with $33 extra for sales and clearance items like what I got in February.

Scored pretty well today. I got 6 corned beef points @1.99/lb, they were about $6.50 each. Those freeze very well. They had boneless pork loin chops for $1 each, so I got ten of those. They had bacon wrapped turkey filets for $2 and I got 8 of those and the butcher guy told me there were fuel points for every 5, so if I got an even 10 I'd get double points. And it was on the pork chops too. Plus, today they had a deal where you got .15 in fuel points for every $30 spent, so I racked up even more. Chicken breast was on sale for 1.99 and I got 2 packs of that. At the other store I bought more frozen fish on sale. At the checkout I noticed the woman in front of me had some coupons and they looked like they had come in the mail so I asked her about them, because I hadn't seen any in my mailbox.... and she gave me her extra one. I used it to get bags of shredded cheese for .99 and a free party size bag of Doritos! Had to get a raincheck on the brand name canned corn @ .49, but that was no big deal.

All in all, a great day shopping, and I stuffed my freezer!
Stop trying to organize all of your family’s crap. If organization worked for you, you’d have rocked it by now. It’s time to ditch stuff and de-crapify your world.

If you're not using the stuff in your home, get rid of it. You're not going to start using it more by shoving it into a closet.
