I use my change jar to pay for vacation fun. I think it is almost full at this point, so I may cash it in and then add the cash to my savings, to leave space to start again. I'm definitely in on this challenge.

I restarted my change jar at the beginning of the year. I'm doing it differently this year. I found a sheet that had all 365 days on it for a penny challenge. As I accumulate change, I mark off what I can. So far I have saved just over $42. My dog died just before Christmas. I want another papillon, but they cost a lot. A lot more than they did 11 years ago. So I'm saving for a new puppy. I did get a new puppy just after Christmas, he's really cute, but not a papillon. He is what I would call a rescue. We were his 3rd owners in 3 weeks. Poor guy.

Every year, I seem to dip into my savings, but this year I have a goal. It will take me more than a year, but this is my goal.

I didn't empty my jar at the end of year and now it's almost full.....I need to take it in and start over.....I am guessing I have about $80 in it.....this is just from my purse and the money I pick up on the floor of stores....Yesterday I got a dime and penny and Walgreens and the day before I found a dime at DG....it all adds up....saw oldest grandson yesterday and he does the same thing....I taught him well.....
