I try to stay at $400. The month of March was about $452. That includes any cleaning/personal care. There are 4 adults here, with 1 eating away from home a lot.

My freezer getting a bit of space. I would like to send hubby to Omaha Streaks to use the gift card mom gave him over a year ago. He is so lazy it gets on my nerves.

June will also be well under budget because I have been letting hubby buy a lot of his own groceries. He insists on things like fancy burger buns $4 for a package of 6, deli lunch meats, bakery cookies. I will probably place another big Target pantry order soon though. It is funny they won't ship some things like Crystal Light which weighs nothing. I could understand not shipping heavy cheap stuff (canned foods).

I have been doing pretty good with just buying less and not stockpiling like I used to. I get milk, vegetables, and some sale items. Shopping from the freezer first every week. Still trying to use up pantry items I bought before my surgeries. DH is eating less, too. He doesn't want big portions any more.
Stop trying to organize all of your family’s crap. If organization worked for you, you’d have rocked it by now. It’s time to ditch stuff and de-crapify your world.

If you're not using the stuff in your home, get rid of it. You're not going to start using it more by shoving it into a closet.

In for July for hopefully no more than $200. Mine includes everything except prescriptions. Includes OTC, pet food ( not pet medicines ), edibles, HBA.

Went to Winn Dixie today for scripts and got small amount of lunchmeat and cheese only. Larger amounts aren't staying good so will probably be what seems a lot of stops for those 2 items. Not sure of total so will look later and update

June was under budget. I'll pay attention to the July sale ads & coupons. Not much in the freezer. I got my Target pantry order so mostly will need fresh/perishable items.

I've been under budget every month this year, except for July. I'm hoping that this week and next week can get me back under so that I can do a normal shop for the final week of the month. We had to shop for vacation last week and we had an extra person with us with specific food choices, so it bumped us up a bit.

This is my "shop from the freezer" month. I don't just shop from the freezer, but the entire house. I try to do this at least once per quarter and sometimes more often. Basically I just make a menu from what I have on hand, and try to buy only perishables like dairy. This week I believe I only need milk, bread and coffee creamer, so I should be able to skate by with $10 or less.
