Does anyone else ever feel like you are in credit card prison?

Hi everyone in the credit card challenge! We've be doing the credit card challenge for the last three months since the new year. I was just checking in with everyone to see how their credit debt is being reduced. Does anyone notice their debt going down? Anyone almost have their credit card paid off? Let's hear an update.

I have about $200 left on one card and the other is at ~$2200 - that's down from $2500 and $2400, respectively at the beginning of the year. It feels good to have paid off so much, but I feel I've run into a road block.
I think I finally have dh on the same page as me regarding our spending, so hopefully things will continue to look up!

I understand about dh being on the same page. I'll say we can't charge anymore and he keeps on coming up with new ideas to charge.
I explained if all our bills are caught up it will feel like we have a lot more money instead of paying off a little here and a little there. Also, if all our cards are paid off, I can put the extra into our emergency fund and our savings will grow so much quicker.

I returned some things I know I won't wear and have $100.00 in my purse. Guess where it is going???? That's right . . . on my credit card!! Every time I get a hold of some cash on it goes. Can't wait to get my tax refund!

Hi everyone in the credit card challenge! I just wanted to let you all know how proud I am of all of you for taking charge (no, not a credit card charge) of your debt and for all working so hard at paying off your debt. You are all doing so great at paying off your credit cards. Keep going!
And now for the REALLY big show, I will do a happy dance for everyone:
**Please note that no animals were hurt when doing happy dance!

We don't carry a balance on our cards, but we've been trying to get our monthly bill lower due to me being out of work. We made one large purchase this month, but put my birthday and Christmas money in checking to pay for it, so when you take that off the bill, we only spent about $400 on our American Express bill. That is great for us. This includes flowers for my Mom's birthday, the new glasses we bought from Amazon, our groceries for the month, a bike helmet for dd, and some various other things that we needed. Only one spendy-type purchase, and that was a new pair of shoes for me which were $29.40. (I needed them and I wear them all the time.) So, we're excited. Hoping to do better next month!
