I'm in again for $300. I've been staying under so far but I need to stock up on some items especially meats this month.

I'm going to set my limit at $350 for a family of five. But, this is also going to include any toiletries, paper goods, pet food, household items, etc. So, 5 people (+1/2 if you count little-one-to-be), 2 german shepherds, AND two kitties.

I'm going to jump into this challenge. This will be my first challenge as I'm a new poster to the boards.

I'm budgeting $200 for two adults, one 16 yr old boy and one 11 yr old girl. I have the pet supplies I need to get me through March. I'm well stocked up on HBA's

During Feb. we ate a lot off our stockpile so, part of my allotment will go towards replenishing it.
I'm going to try and keep a journal of the meals we eat throughout the month as well as keeping tabs on the totals.

I must admit I am having a hard time setting a budget for this. I have a family of 8 people. I do coupon shop a lot, but I am terrible at keeping track of what I spend. March is going to be my month to keep track. I will report back to all of you, if that is ok.

    Wish me luck,

Making it 350.00 this month for 4 adults. There are 5 Fridays in the month and I shop weekly. In the past this would equate to 500.00 budgeted so this will be a stretch for me. But I have alot in the pantry and freezers are full. This does not include animal feed.

I am in again this month. I was a bit under last month but will still have to increase this month because I include pet, household cleaning supplies, and H&B stuff in my grocery budget.

The dog needs food and the hampster needs bedding. So I will budget $325 this month. Also, my freezer is empty so $325 will really be a stretch but I am going to make every dollar count.

I'd like to spend only $280 this month instead of the $300 I normally spend. Mainly to see if I can do it! Of course, the money I spent on meat last week (Feb) should help.

I'm in again, I was under last month! I'll go for 100 this month though with it being a longer month, this is for two adults and I'm lucky in that I have two freezers full of beef and veggies so it's mainly staples and snacks (especially for hubbies lunch).

    Good luck everyone!

I'm in for $300 for the month, with 4 in the family. This should be a challenge for newbie me, but I am going to try and eat what I have in the freezer.

I always need help on lunchs for DD (5). We cannot have peanut butter in our house due to allergies, and I am always stuck with not having a frugal alternative.... any suggestions would be wonderful
