Up to $417.55 for the month, with 2 days to go. I'm really pleased with how it went for March, I did have a few extra expenses thrown in this past week... but I am way under the budget so I'm thrilled

    Groceries

    $126.05 + 80.50 = $206.55

The only thing we really needed to spend to-day was $1.97 for the cereal and all the rest of the groceries were things on sale at a really good price so bought a lot of stuff to stock my pantry. To me having a well-stocked pantry is one of the secrets of frugal grocery shopping and I buy very little that is not on sale. I never use coupons and shop at the most expensive store in town because they have their own butcher and the meat is not shipped in, also do their own baking - not that I am tempted too often. This is the first time I have ever kept track of my grocery money but for sure won't be the last - I really liked doing it.

I am soooooooo bad! I went over by $105.72. Of course, a lot of that will be being used during April, but still. I've got to knuckle down for April.

2 days left & I have $14.13 left. I am very proud of myself for sticking to the budget. I will stay out of the store until sat. at least, maybe longer.

Up to a total of 211.22 for the month. Still under the 350.00 budget so I am glad. I will make one more trip on Friday to Save a Lot to get staples and to Giant Eagle to match coupons with loss leaders but should still hit the budget. I think in May I am going to try and drop it to 300. Next month I will be feeding the world for Easter so that is not a good time to lower it...but we will see....

This was my first month keeping track of my grocery dollars. We spent $418.08!! That is unreal. It is for 2 adults, 1 teenager, and 3 dogs. It included everything we buy at the grocery store. I'm still in shock.

I made it under my goal by $5.36 in March! Next run to town that money goes off the mortgage. Shooting for under $100.00 again in April.
