[i]I bought myself a Pepsi today so that blew it for me. In my defense, I am PMSy today so I just HAD to have it! [i}[/B]
We ought to get a one-day spending exemption for PMS! (Although my weakness runs more toward pizza than Pepsi!)

    You ladies are too funny.

I'm now at 2 no spend days out of 3.

I've made it every day.. but boy is this HARD.... I didn't think this would be as hard as it is!

I like the one free PMS day.. although I'd lean toward a shamrock shake this month... I don't normally like McD's.. but there must be childhood nostalgia tied into those!

If you young ones get a free PMS day, I want a free menopause day -- just to be fair, ya know.....

I'm four out of four, and tomorrow looks like a spend free day coming up, but Monday is a day off and Walmart is on the agenda. But I think this is probably easier for me since I live alone. I don't have a family with all their needs and wants popping up. On the other hand, that leaves me with no excuse if I blow this, doesn't it?

Well- I did well in February. I had NO spend days.
It's March already- I missed the thread earlier- but I spent $2 one day to buy a coupon holder at Kmart. I tried envelopes- it just wasn't working.
    Total 2006 discretionary spending= $11

Count me in, I knew this was on here somewhere but didn't know where to find it, don't really know my way around yet. So far so good.

I lost one day yesterday. I paid $5.00 to play in our monthly neighborhood bunco game.. BUT I did win $15.00.. so the money is going toward debt... I think it was a wise $5.00 investment

I blew it on the first day of the month

I forgot my water bottle when I took ds to the hospital. We were there for 4 hours and I was so thirsty. I spent $1.50 on a bottle of water

So far I'm 4 out of 5 for no spend days

I knew I was going to blow it on Sat. so I made sure it was a good one.

    I bought:

~a fat quarter while at my quilting class
~a ton of Creative Memory stuff while at memoranza
~went out for supper with 2 friends
~bought some stickers at the Dollar store

Yesterday (Sun.) was a no spend day.

So 3 no spend days out of 6. Boy do I have to work on this challenge.

I'm 3/5. I blew it on ice cream one day, and yesterday my boys had a church event that cost money. The rest of the week is looking good, though...

    I'm in! (check siggy)

The good thing about staying home to avoid spending is that I get a lot of "householdy" stuff done. (Mending, etc.)
