I thought I joined this challenge earlier in the month. I added it in my signature.

My 6 year old puter finally crashed completely on Saturday, so I blew that day big time! Good news is that I knew it was coming and had started to put money aside in November. It is so nice to turn on the computer and have it actually boot up on the first try!

Other than that, I'm doing okay with my challenge.

I'm not doing too well either. I'm at 4 no spend days out of 9. I'm posting for today because I know that I'll be spending some money while in the city.

Still on track 12 no spend days out of 12 but it is so hard, I want the DVD Walk the Line. Do we ever get one spend day in between challenges or something.

I'm holding at seven, because I had to go to Hallmark to get cards for the Chemo Angels program (one day), buy seeds for the seed swap (one day), and purchase a photo album (one day)...hey, wait....this village is costing me a fortune!

I did also cave in and buy a used German-English dictionary and a birthday present for my sister. If I had been smarter, I would have bought them all on the same day!

I am not doing well this month.
Since 12/19/05 I spent only $9 in discretionary spending.

    In March I bought:
    - a fat caliper- that measures fat- this way I can guage whether I am loosing fat and not muscle. $19.99
    - Tom Venuto's ebook, Burn the Fat, Feed the Muscle. $39.95
    - Black+Decker screw driver for DH's father's day gift $29.99
    - My cat required hospitalization $376.00

I'm out of work due to injury; insurance pays 60% of base pay, haven't received anything yet. Funny thing; when I shouldn't be spending- that's when I do!!

Well I kinda slurged yesterday, hubby and I went to Rit*'s for a custard, and last week I went to the Thrift Shop and I only spent $25 which isn't bad, I got 2 skirts and like 10 shirts and a pair of shoes (they looked brand new), and it was put into my budget so I didn't blow the budget or anything.

I'm four out of four, and tomorrow looks like a spend free day coming up, but Monday is a day off and Walmart is on the agenda. But I think this is probably easier for me since I live alone. I don't have a family with all their needs and wants popping up. On the other hand, that leaves me with no excuse if I blow this, doesn't it?

LOL. I was thinking in terms of just a freebie day. But I like your idea so much better. There is nothing worse than those hot flashes
