    Default April Grocery Challenge

Okay, April is here and time to set new goals for ourselves. How'd you do last month? If you met your goal, can you lower it by $25 this month? See how low you really CAN go?

I'm sticking to $200 for April. I went a little over in March, so I'm trying again, which will be tricky because I plan on doing a lot of diaper stock-up this week, when the big boxes are on sale. It's going to take creative cooking to achieve my goal with that thrown in but I'm up to the challenge!

    Next participant?

Since I was new to the village, I wasn't able to get in the grocery challenge for March, but for April I am going to try to budget for $400.00 which is drastic for my family of big eaters.I have my coupons ready, Dave Ramsey's book read, and the Tightwad Gazette delivered today which I bought from FrugalMom3. Wish me luck.

    Default count me in too...

This will be my first one. I have budgeted $200 for the month of April. Luckily, DH is on his "health kick" again so there will be lots of beans and rice without complaint. DS is another story-age 15, 6'1 with an appetite to match

I definitely want in on this. Been trying for months to keep up with how much I'm actually spending...and I think it's around $300.

I'm shooting low, really low for $200.00, but I believe I can do it! My coupons are ready!

I'm in again! My budget is AUD$725 for the month since I met goal for March. Before everyone has heart failure over my amount , this is Australian dollars and we have no coupons over here.

    Good luck everyone

I'm in for $100.00 again this month, I was under by 5.36 last month but this is about as low as I can go until the garden kicks in for the year.

I'm in for £250 this month! The baby's due in just a few days, so the freezer's pretty full!

Hey, y'all, it's me, again. LOL! I better not change my goal because I have gone over the last two months. This month, I am going to try NOT to take my teenage daughters with me to the store. My goal is $400 once again. I think I can, I think I can, I think I can......

I am in again. I went over just a couple of $$$ last month but I had budgeted a lot extra for dog food, hamster bedding, laundry detergent, etc.

This month should be just food and I am going to try to keep it under $250.00

I'm in again! i stayed under by about $3.00 last month. I'm sticking with $300 again this month. We have our spring break, so I won't have to purchase lunch stuff that week, but everyone is coming here for Easter dinner, and I'll need food for 12. My pantry isn't that well stocked, but I'm hoping!!

O.K. I'm going to shoot for $150. I still have quite a few things left in the pantry and freezer. Last month, I was a little lax with eating out, so this month I need to get back on track.
