I am in for $250. I have been budgeting for $100 a week or $400. I know I can get it lower this month. If I do good on the $250, I will go even lower for April.

I haven't done this challenge in a while....cause I always blow it. It's like being on a diet-once I go over a little, I figure I might as well go all the way because I already blew it. I am summoning all of my willpower for this challenge.
I am going to do this for March...$300 for the month.

I did major restocking in Feb., so I'm in for $300 this month. That includes everything, wish I could go lower but with 8 indoor cats, (plus feeding outdoor strays) food and litter alone are almost 100 a month.

I am in again. We did really well in February, we only went over by $2.67. I am going to stick with the $200 again for: food, toiletries, cat food/treats/litter, and cleaning/plastic/paper products. That's for 2 adults and 2 cats. I am confident we can come in very close to budget for March, give or take a few dollars. I love the grocery challenge, it keeps me accountable for our spending and it helps me not to splurge on unnecessary items.

I'm in for $600 this month. This includes EVERYTHING for our home and allows me some to start stocking the camper.

I went over for Feb. But I have lots stockpiled in both the pantry and freezer. We are moving the end of March and I don't want to move a stockpile so eating on that mostly this month. I am going to say $200 for the month to include paper products and toiletries. Like I said I am fairly certain we could eat a month or two off our stockpile, will just need fresh stuff each week. That's for a family of 5.

I'm in to try again! We'll see this time. I think I will have to put the squeeze
    on the family.

wow, you ladies have such low numbers there for your food budget

I am kind of embarrased to tell mine....

This is the first time for me on this challenge. I am going for 100.00 Euro a week. So roughly 400.00 Euro a month, all cash.

What do you all do with what ever is left over, if you have something left??

    400 for March.

I went so far over in February that I stopped keeping track.

I'm in for $360 again. It's a long month, so I'll probably need every bit of it. On the up side, I did have about $100 left after February. It went to eating out and church.

Did my first shop for March today. I spent $125.00 and I hope to make it last for two weeks. I stuck to my list exactly, did not put one extra thing in.I hope this will be the big shop and then in a couple of weeks I'll make another smaller trip.Still seems like I should be spending less, but I think if I keep working on it I can bring it down.
