    Default March Emergency Fund Challenge!

I get 3 paychecks this month so my goal is $1000. Would be more but we're going to a convention in April.

I moved $400 over to my HSBC account. $600 to go!

I'm cheating this month -- it looks like my emergency fund is growing by about $850, but I'm actually just moving it from the other savings account that I want to keep at around $1000. I used all I could spare from this paycheck -- I'm paid once a month -- to pay off the last of the debt.

I am also considering opening another account for a special very long term goal, and if so, that will drain off a few potential dollars as well. But in April I will start in earnest on building the emergency fund.

I'm in for my usual $50.00. I still have a lot of high interest debt to pay down before I start building in ernest.

Count me in for $100, my savings has been doing down and down because of home emergencies, doctor visits, etc... gosh does it ever end? I am ok though, that's what an EF is for.

~Well, I keep re-inventing my savings; I guess I haven't decided what I'm saving for yet. I have my $1000 BEF completed. So I'm saving either 1 year of living expenses($25K) or cash to put an addition on this house or a down payment on a larger house. Right now there's $5400 in there(plus the BEF). This month I think I can stash away $400, my biggest challenge yet. ~

I put in my $25 (slowly building it while paying off debts atm) and added an extra $20 today.

I am in for $700. Quite a squeeze but I think we can do it.
