March Clothing Challenge
~I'm continuing my challenge to spend $25 or less per month on clothes until summer when I can hit some yard sales. This is a big cut for me, since last year I/we spent about $85 a month on clothes. So far, in January I spent $15 and February I spent $20. I haven't bought any clothes/shoes/accessories yet this month. Anyone wanna join me?~

I have already challenged myself to buy no new clothes all year!! This does not include my kids; just me.

Count me in, I am in for $20 this month, I usually dont buy new clothes every month so this is pretty easy for me BUT there is an occasion that DH wants to go to the Thrift Store but I will try my best to not buy anything for myself for the month of March, I am trying my best to replenish my EF so this should be pretty easy

If I were to join the clothing challenge Id be doing the reverse. To see how much of it I can purge and donate to a charity/someone else who could use it. I seem to have noticed I have a lot of clothes I dont wear anymore...no need to worry about me spending money on more clothes - got nowhere to put it! I only bought socks this month - total of $6!
Ok my participation in this challenge IS to see how much I can get rid of! I will report back at end of March!

I would like to lose some of this baby weight before I buy new clothes so I am in.
I'm going to hit the yard sales for the kiddos clothes this summer but I'm even cheap at yard sales and buy sizes way in advance when I see inexpensive items and I never pay more than 1.00 an item and boy do I like those dime or quarter items!

I'm in! No new (or used) clothes for any of us this month. This will be pretty easy though since I've bought 2 shirts this year, only because I needed soemthing nice to wear for a dinner out. DS has plenty of clothes and I'm actually looking into making some shorts for him out of our old clothes that are waiting to be donated.

I am joining in too, no new clothes this month. I haven't bought any clothing or shoes of any kind for myself since May 2006. I did get a few hand me downs or should I say ups from my younger sister. I am donating three pairs of shoes this month to charity. I am sure I can find more items to purge from my closet. I am 2 months away from making it a whole year without buying clothes (not even yard sale or thrift store clothes). I admit being unemployed for 5 of the months this year has helped with not spending money on clothing.

~OK. I spent $16 on "unmentionables". It was $23 but I'm returning one thing because I picked up the wrong size. I have to look for a pair of sneakers for Ro. Don't want to spend more than $15 but I haven't seen anything less than $25. Why are toddler shoes so expensive?!!?~
