Not sure it is even worth the pics.........but shall check the batteries on my camera........if it is still working. I expect it to die any day......after the drop at the quilt show last year!!

The scarf is one I saw at a craft show.........that she was selling for $19!!

You decide how long you want the scarf...........cut numerous pieces at this length--does not need to be exact, and looks better if it isn't!! (again--size is up to you)..........tie a knot in each end and in the middle...........AND IT IS DONE!! When worn, the knot in the middle makes a 'spot' to hold the other part if you want to loop it through, instead of wrapping it around.

FF - the cheater scarf kinda reminds me of a fleece knot blanket. (Not sure if that's the name though.) Basically it's taking two different color/patterned fleece blankets (same size), lay one on top of the other, cut notches long the outside of the blankets, and tie the sides together in a series of knots.

I found seven crocheted dishcloths and scrub vies that were finished except for the yarn ends.... My nemesis.... The finishing. So I put the yarn needle and the cloths together and settled in the LR with my DMIL - and finished them off while watching The Chew!

Worked on the dreaded afghan today for a while. Finished two rows. Will try again tomorrow.

Since my students have taken on learning to knit, I cast on a dishcloth to show them. So working on that too!

I finished a scarf for my dil's birthday. It's called a papillon scarf. It takes three rows to get the butterfly look. It turned out okay. I think a different, thinner yarn would have been better, but I used what I had. Free birthday gift.

For the carpal tunnel or other pain, I would do 3-9 rows at a time. It took me all month to do it, but I think my hand will be okay.

Finally finished the afghan from hell. Will post pictures tomorrow as my camera doesn't work well in artificial light. I am soooo happy because now I can start something else!

Worked on my gnomes - played around with a pink instead of tan for the skin - need to check it out in daylight - right. Now the tan is winning!

Here is the afghan from hell. It took me forever and was my first ripple afghan. The pattern was quite easy once I started...but I just couldn't get into it....but I don't like UFO's so I made myself finish it before starting anything else so now the skies the limit on what project I want to do!

That's a really pretty afghan. I started one years ago that I call the ugly afghan. I'm taking all the leftover yarn from other projects a crocheting until its gone and then add the next color. All single crochet. Pretty easy. It really is ugly, but I'm sure someone will appreciate it some day when I finish it.

LOL - that's what I call my rag-bag blankets. Right now I'm working on two afgans using yarn that really called to me. So I haven't done any real stash busting lately. But I have a couple stash-busters in mind to donate to friends. Once I'm done with those, I can see what leftover skeins I have to do a couple rag-bags.

i've started a mystery ball of yarn for just that purpose - to make an ugly blanket!
