Gotta love the weather!

This is why I so adore this area!

Snow, rain, sunshine & arid all in one day from one forecast. I sat here anticipating the deluge of snow "they" predicted; but I found out this morning that I live in the wrong area to enjoy the mounds of snow.

When I finally got the "snow" may as well call it slurpy.

I have been saying to the other half that I would really really enjoy the winters before I get too old to not enjoy it. In addition, shovel the snow for him.

Patticakes I live in the Columbia River Gorge and we have seen it all! Blue sky, then snow pellets, snow, sleet, rain and rounded off with more snow. AND that was just Wednesday!!

Today, currently, it is just snowing--big flakes, pellets and now just little flakes. I have missed 2 days of work and i doubt I will be working tomorrow.

So long as the airport is open on the 24th--we fly out to visit oldest DD, SIL and twins for 2 weeks. Keeping my fingers crossed.

PS If you really want to shovel snow--come on by!

I think I belong here? I'm from Southeast Idaho. We have had warm balmy weather and then bam! Three or four days it started to snow and it's just now subsiding. Which leaves us with frigid temps and lots of work-out time for the snowblower! Here's wishing everyone a cozy warm Christmas!

wanderinggrandma, I have been shoveling this week & so far loving it. This current storm has me wonderin gif I am in a safe zone but time will tell.
If the snow slacks off I might take sneak by & shovel a little.

oh gosh...i live in south puget sound and we got a ton of snow...went sledding with the kids today...soooo much fun! i just hope the power doesn't go out!

We don't have alot of snow yet just a couple of inches but we are under a winter weather advisory and a wind advisory it was -2 temp and wind chill of -15. When we got out of church the wind picked up more and it's -1 BRRRR! Staying inside today with soups and hot cocoa! Not fit for man or beast!
