When I'm 91 yrs old, I want to be in as good of shape as Clara!! Interesting recipe--basic and leaves lots of room to "tinker" with it.

Did anyone try the pasta & peas?
I am wondering how it is with all the starch ...the potatoes & pasta are cooked together & not drained. That would make for a starchy broth. I'm guessing it thickens it up & makes it filling. I'm going to have to try it for myself!
Clara is awesome!

We actually still do a version of pasta and peas here. It was one of my grandmothers frugal staples. Ours is even less ingredants though.
pasta shells (small or medium) boiled and drained
marinara sauce heated
mix in a large serving bowl
I'll have to give Clara's way a shot.

Clara's got a few videos on YouTube about her depression cooking. I want to try to make some of them b/c they're so simple....but the health/nutrition factor does kind of scare me!
