Thank you! And yes, that child is my 16 month old son. We always heard what a beautiful girl he was when he was younger, lol. He is my most challenging photo subject, he never wants to look at the camera. His older brother has always been a ham and loves to be photographed.

Emarie - when I photograph my preschoolers, I'm usually happier when they don't notice what I'm doing so I can catch them in action - the photos are for their individual albums which they all 'read' on a daily basis!! I am sure that I am going to learn a lot from you.....mahalo!!

Fantastic photos! Are you looking into selling the pictures you take? You would probably make a lot of money!

I use a Nikon D70 that I picked up off of Craigslist. I really wanted a DSLR but I didn't want to pay 1000 bucks for a new Nikon D90 and since I do try to be frugal I picked up an older model for about 250.

I am hoping to turn my photography into a career, but I'm still learning and I haven't decided what I want to specialize in. Right now, I'm trying to work on portraits.

These are some that I took for my brother in law.

I love the Firefly Very beautiful collection of photos, each beautiful for their own reasons.

These, I think would be a good entrants in the Energizer Ultimate Photo Contest that National Geographic is running in their magazine. My job recently picked up the marketing for the campaign which is very nice considering I am a photo/digital camera enthusiast myself.

The contest gives photographers an opportunity to get pictures published in the December issue of National Geographic magazine as well as earn a trip to the scenic and VERY photographic Greek Islands.

Entry is open until June 30th. National Geographic photographer Jim Richardson serves as a contest judge, and will also be doling out photography tips and participating in a Q&A session on the contest website.
