I miscarried almost 22 years ago and I still think about that baby, even though it was not possible to find out the gender.

I appreciated sympathy cards, notes, etc., that were sent to us. It was a loss of a dream and I was glad to have people acknowledge it.

When I get to Heaven I'm anxious to meet that child.

Even though we already had a child, and we had another after the miscarriage, I've always wondered what that baby would have been like.

I had two miscarriages, with one that we had to make plans to bury it. I think that just saying that you are thinking of them, and offering your love and support is enough. What a good friend are are, she is lucky to have you in her life.

I wouldn't say much. I would simply offer my emotional support, and the warmth of a sympathetic smile.

Today is April 28th.....our baby girl would have celebrated her 21st birthday today. Although I never had the blessing of holding her, a mother never forgets. Hugs and prayers for you and your family
