Trying to Conceive...
Anyone else trying to conceive? DH And I have been trying to conceive since August 2006. I got pregnant in November, but I miscarried last week. It has been a hard week.
So...it is back to trying in a few months!

Two things will almost guarentee you'll get p.g.
Number One get in debt. The deeper the better, then find a labor intensive job that you love. We did both and now have 2 beauitful children. No sooner than we bought our first home and bang! We had spent every dime for down payment and the first few years were going to be tight up front, but if we continued to work hard we'd be home free. haha Then I went to work with DH doing commercial painting. Up and down ladders. carrying five gallon buckets full of paint. Bomb! Home on bedrest! With a calendar full of jobs!
Wouldn't change things for the world.
Lots of prayers.

I too tried to get pregnant for a long time and then had a miscarriage. Never was able to have another baby after that without IVF. I had what was called post pregnancy infertility. We had one son and then couldn't do it again.
Hang in there and remember that EVERYONE will have a story to tell you on how to get pregnant and what worked for them. The best thing to do is talk to your doctor and see a fertility specialist to find out what's causing the infertility. And, miscarriages are part of infertility.
Lots of hugs and good wishes to you. It's a tough road to have to go down.

I'm not anymore, but I was last year-ish.
Here are two sites that I found really good support forums on:
www.fertilityfriend.com

I used fertilityfriend as well. Also, babycenter.com has great chat rooms for people who are ttc. It was an incredibly supportive place when I was ttc. We tried for about a year each time with my first two children.
A book that I also found was very useful was "Taking Charge of Your Fertility" by Toni Weschler. Tons of info inside. Take and use what is interesting or important to you. Great book.
I'm so sorry to hear about the miscarriage.I can't imagine what that must feel like for you. We're always here if you need a shoulder.

I'm so sorry about your miscarriage. I haven't experienced one firsthand but I know they can be devastating. I pray a new baby comes to you quickly.

It took me 13 months to conceive after I started trying for child no. 2. The doctor even put me on clomid. After a few months on the clomid he doubled the clomid for me. One month I just decided I wasn't going to take the clomid that month and that was the month I conceived my daughter.
I'm sorry about your miscarriage. I know the pain still must be fresh.

I am so very sorry to hear of your loss. The first baby that we conceived after my tubal reversal was lost to miscarriage and it was a very difficult time for all of us..but the Lord is so good. Baby #10 has weaned his little self & we're going to try for baby #11 as soon as my cycle kicks in.

I am so sorry about your loss.
We are trying to conceive baby #2. We waited several years in-between (DD will be 4 in April) because I miscarried my first pregnancy and had a very difficult pregnancy with DD and we had a few scares. I had gestational hypertension and was on meds and they thought they were going to have to do ER c-sections twice. So we hoping for the best.

I hope that you can conceive again soon

I'm sorry to hear of your loss.
It took us 3 years to get pregnant with my DD, and about 1.5 years with my DS. So while I'm not currently trying, but I've been there and I know how frustrating & emotional it is.

Dh and I are probably going to start soon. I don't have any children yet. We had an adoption planned that was supposed to go through a year ago which fell through at the last minute, then DH's dad died unexpectedly so we just put everything on hold. Now we are back on track and ready to start our family again. Maybe I'll be with you in the next couple months.
Telephus, thanks for the links. I will bookmark them.
