Update on QuilterMom - Sept. 8th

QM really needs some prayers and good thoughts sent her way.

Remember the vacation she was suppose to take. Well she is trying to get a refund for it because needless to say they won't be going. I'll let her explain more when she gets back, but she needs prayers that they refund her the full amount and don't charge any extra on her cc. Her dh is also not working at present because of the situation, so there is no income coming in.

She wants to thank everyone for your continued prayers and good thoughts. She also still doesn't know when her power will be restored.

She is in contact with a close friend of hers through her cell phone but even that is hit and miss. Her friend who is also a close friend of mine is e-mailing me al the updates.

I know that Hurricane Ivan is still not close enough to predict where it is headed, but I'm sure thats on everyone's minds as well.

I feel so bad for her. I sure wish there was something more we could do for her. Lots of prayers and good thoughts coming her way.

We will certainly continue to pray for her here.

Also we are watching Ivan closely as it is heading for Jamaica. DH has close family in JA and so we are worried that they will be in danger. Hopefully it will not head for Florida!

Praying for their safety and that they get a refund on on their vacation. Poor things, I feel so badly for them all.

Hope she gets 100% of her money refunded & she's been on my mind.
I am so very worried for those in the path of Ivan the terrible. I don't want to find out how much more the people of Florida and elsewhere can take.

I was able to catch up on the whole story and I pray for QuilterMom and her family! I wish there was somthing that we could do. Can we send some nonperishable food? How about more blankets, flashlights, batteries,candles? I would love to help! Does she need coupons for restocking?

I also hope that she is able to recoup all of her money for the vacation that she was going to take! This is just terrible and I really feel for her and her family!!
