Who has a solar power/hand crank radio in their home?
This is definitely one thing we need to get especially being were so far away from a city. We need to be able to have the news should the power go off.
Anyone have one? What brand do you have and have you ever used it?

We have one that we purchased just before Y2K-- not sure of the brand, but we've used it during power outages. The hand crank will run the radio for about 10 minutes, for every 2 minutes of cranking. Solar powered will work indefinately as long as there is light.
