Default Cook up that carved pumpkin, delish!

Cooked up that big old carved pumpkin today, got over 12 cuts of pumpkin from it, I made one pie, 12 muffins, and a batch of pumpkin, raisin cookies, and froze the rest in 2 cup containers. We love pumpkin anything here, how about you?

Wow awesome! We LOVE pumpkin stuff, but with my having the baby this year, I didn't get to get a really good garden going. And what I did get planted, most of it went to waste because DH wouldn't get out and cut the grass and I ended up with a 3 week long case of chiggers everytime I set foot out there. No thanks! lol

Can you cook up the pumpkins that have been sitting out on the porch for the last few weeks?
I've never done that, but I suppose you could?
    what do you think?

I would say yes as long as it's still nice and solid, no mold or soft spots. Of course you really can't be sure it's good till you cut it open. But give it a try, we had some of the pie I made for dessert tonight, and it was very tasty.
