Apple butter pumpkin pie

I found this in a paper I pick up every now and then at the quilting store.

Apple Butter-pumpkin Pie

1 c. cooked pumpking, mashed
1 c. apple butter
3/4 c. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
3 eggs, beaten
2/3 c. evaporated milk
1/3 c. milk
1 pie shell

In large mixing bowl, thoroughly combine pumpkin, apple butter, brown sugar, salt and cinnamon. Blend in eggs and milk. Pour into pie shell. Bake at 375 F for 45-50 mins. or until knife inserted in centre comes out clean.

If I could make a suggestion.........

CJ, It doesn't appear that you've made this yet, so I hope I'm not knocking *your* recipe.

I made this last year a couple of times. It's good, but not enough pumpkin. What I finally did was to do 1 1/2c pumpkin & 1/2 c apple butter.

Maybe it was my hm apple butter.......maybe it was too overpowering, but no one really liked it until I made that change.
