    Default Pumpkin Dump Cake

    Another American Profile recipe.

    <B>Pumpkin Dump Cake - </B>
    • 1 29-ounce can pure pumpkin
    • 112-ounce can evaporated milk
    • 3 eggs
    • 1 cup sugar
    • 1 teaspoon salt
    • 3 teaspoons cinnamon
    • 1 box yellow cake mix
    • 1 cup chopped pecans
    • 3/4 cup melted margarine


    Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix first six ingredients until well blended, and pour batter into a 9-by-13-inch greased pan. Sprinkle cake mix on top, and then cover with pecans. Pour melted margarine over top. Bake 50 minutes.

    There should be a space between 1 and 12...it's a 12 oz can not 112 ozs......I know you prob know that,but ...just incase lol

    No,not yet,but I do plan on making it. Maybe this weekend when I grocery shop I'll get the canned pumpkin. I'll post to let everyone know how it is

    I made this for dessert tonight and me and dh really enjoyed it. It is rich however so you can't eat alot at one sitting.

    ooooh thanks for posting that you made it!!! I got the canned pumpkin tonight. I plan on making it in the next few days but was hoping someone would before me and give feedback on it!

    &nbsp;

    What makes it rich? To much sugar? The pumpkin?&nbsp;I thought of adding only 3/4 cup of sugar...do you think it would screw the recipe up?
