If we are talking materialistic "stuff" and not what would be the obvious answers then I would say the things I could not or would not want to live without are ...

    ~ My books and coobooks

~ Wii and all of the games we have, it's a prime source of family entertainment here

    ~ The garden

Nothing..We make enough between our two incomes and live well below are means to not have to sacrifice what we enjoy.

Well, I think the internet, some form of televisized entertainment, and coffee appear to be the universal winners!

Now we all know what to invest in while the market is down

Oh Rosey, thanks for the reality check.

AC probably trumps the rest of my list. I am a horrible hot person. Without AC I'd probably have to join our northern most memebers here.

    I second internet...

...and we go on a family date every weekend. DH and I get starbucks coffee and the kids go to a play place, the park, a fair, somewhere and blow off steam. That 8$ is a luxury, but we'd have to be in desperate straights for me to give up our coffee & outing. We've tried making it ourselves, but it just hasn't been as good or special for us.
