This was an old post..........is this one for real?

Or did it get bumped when someone didn't check a date.........

I would like to join too. I saw where you have to ask Sara for the 'award' but haven't noticed that many postings from the club.......am I missing something? (will double check hobbies again)

Frugalfranny - I don't think that you've missed anything - this seems to be running dormant for the tme being. Let's see what we can do to get it going again.

~Unfortunately we had problems with the Fat Quarter Train project and never moved onto the Round Robin(don't know what that is actually).
I would love to see the club get going again!
Maybe we could start a thread for August like we're doing in the sewing forum. Just a place to chat and share for August and then see how much interest it generates?~

I am planning on making quilts once the cold weather hits. I plan on getting alot of use out of my new to me quilting frame! I have some material already cut and the ideas in my head but I am so busy with knitting and crocheting that I am leaving quilting for winter. But I will definitely be checking in!

    Thumbs up Quilting

Count me in, I am a novice but would love to be a member. Plan on doing several quilts for Christmas. Is there going to be a forum for this?

Don't know about a forum l8eebug, let's see what evolves.

Glad that you are joining us!! Have you thought about what type of Christmas quilts you are going to make?

I have hand quilted some of the preprinted Christmas prints that could be used as wall hangings or lap quilts. String quilts are also really effective too. Looking forward to seeing what you choose.

    Great Idea!!

I'm going to start a thread for August - have everyone share what they want to/are/dreaming of quilting as well as specific WIP. This should help the newbies get a better idea of quilting that is available for them to choose from.

I am going to start working on a baby quilt for Sasha. She is due on January 1st. My son is giving her a very long Hawaiian middle name. Next time he calls I wll make sure and write it down. I am actually going to start right now. I am soooo excited. We are going to finally have a girl in the family.
