    Default Finished Sylvia's Bridal Sampler Quilt

    Well it took me a little 4 months but I finally got it finished 2 days before the wedding. Here are some pictures of each block and the finished quilt.

    Oh My Gosh!!! You must have worked nonstop on it. Its wonderful! What a keepsake for them. I love the Elm Creek series, I have The Homecoming but have not read it yet. Great job!!!

    Thank you everyone.

    I used lots of leftover scraps from clothing I had made her as she was growing up, leftovers from making her son's crib sheets and baby quilt and of course her 2 favorite colors black and red. I was so happy she recognized several pieces right off and the fact she put it on her bed the moment she got back from her honeymoon.

    Sara-I was beginning to think I was in over my head on this one too, but I did it 1 block a day and found this to be a very learning experience!

    That is incredibly beautiful! You do wonderful work. I love the way you framed each block in the black inner border, it set each one off so wonderfully. Great job!
