Need some help on LEAD-FOOT free motion quilting
I have got the worst lead foot. I am free motion quilting a window quilt. It is so simple however my foot has no idea of slow. Its not in its vocabulary. Just wondering if there is a trick to keeping my foot from blasting down the quilting highway at 90 mph.

I don't know what kind of foot control that you have if it is the knee type of floor type...Mine is floor and I use my heel...put my foot on it backward to what most people do...of course I don't wear any shoes...seems to give me a little better control.

I sew barefoot and just press with my toes when I need to go slower. But I can't machine quilt at all, I just make a mess.
