    Default French Dressing

    French Dressing

    Recipe Description
This recipe can be adjusted easy by changing the amount of sugar and lemon juice. I use little to no sugar since we don't like the dressing too sweet. The sugar balances the lemon juice so it is up to you as to how tart/sweet you make it. I use canola oil.
    Preparation Steps:Level of Difficulty:
    Easy
    Time Needed:Ingredients:
    1/3c sugar
    1t paprika
    1t onion powder
    1/3c ketchup
    1/2c salad oil
    1/4cc cider vinegar
    1 squeeze of lemon
    Serves:Directions:
Combine ingredients and blend until oil is incorporated.

Thanks for the recipe. Another one that I will try with white or red wine vinegar

Actually now that I think about it, Dave doesn't really like French dressing anyway. Looks like I can make it as written

Thanks! My ds is allergic to red dye and it is hard to find French dressing (except for pricier and/or organic brands) that doesn't have it. Since he only likes French he had pretty much given up eating salads. Yay for the return of leafy greens!

Thanks for the recipe I am trying to make more things at home just so it doesn't have all of the additives.
