Recipe DescriptionCornbread SaladPreparation Steps:Make corn bread while cornbread is cooking and cooling,Level of Difficulty:
dice up, bell peppers, tomatoes and onions
mix together the juice from thesweet pickles and mayo (I usually use 1-11/2 cups of mayo)
Cook up the baconEasyTime Needed:Ingredients:CornbreadServes:Directions:
2 cans of Pinto
2 Large Onions
2 Large Green Bell Peppers
2 Large Tomatoes
1 sm jar sweet pickles
Bacon1. When the cornbread has cooled, crumble in the bottom of a 9X13 pan.
2. Pour the pinto beans over the cornbread, juice and all.
3. Layer the onions, bell pepper and tomato.
4. Pour the dressing over the salad.
5. Crumble up the bacon and serve on top of the salad when served.
