Does it matter what's on the box for the UPC? Meaning does the box have to show the promo on it?

I guess that it wouldn't really matter b/c on the box that I have it says to include one upc bar code from Red Rose Tea as proof of purchase for each figure...so I guess a upc code from any box as long as its from Red Rose Tea.

I don't have any, but you brought up a wonderful memory. They used to come IN the boxes (the figurines). My uncle collected many over the years and I remember playing with them when I was little. Now, since his passing I got an old tin...and guess what was inside? The little figurines..hippos, girraffes, penguins, etc. Those silly little freebies mean so much to me.

I had never heard of the tea until someone here had posted about it awhile back. I couldn't find it anywhere around here, then I had Spec's special order it for me. It was finally on the shelves this week after a month of waiting I had went to the Red Rose Tea website & it said that you could still get the figurines, but you have to send for them now.I can imagine all of the memories that your tin holds - priceless
