Saving Saturday July 24

Aloha and it's Saturday already!! What are you doing this Saturday for fun and frugality?

I'm going to be doing a lot of at home work - all the little things that make it easier to get through the week including:
Laundry
Planning weekly menu
Planning clothes for the week
Writing letters
Paying bills
Calling family
Sewing Christmas presents

Well, let's see...

I think DH and I are going to go to Costco. Need some milk, egg, fruit and meat.

Also, Old Navy is having a sale where if you bring your school ID you get 20 or 25% off your total. I'm not a huge fan of Old Navy clothes, as they seem to fade, tear and wear out really fast. But, I may pick up a few things like pajamas and t-shirts for them to goof off in.

I am sure DH and DS will hit the gym today.

DD has to work tonight and has her BFF over until later this afternoon.

I'll most likely take a nap at some point and do a little cleaning.

Every year there is a church fair and yard sale that i go to with friends and it is today. This is a bargain lovers dream!!

I'm teaching piano lessons in the morning, then general housekeeping and laundry for the rest of the day, as we have an open house tomorrow. I'm hoping to get the kids to the pool as the heat index is supposed to be 106, but we'll see how that goes.

In NJ it is going to be over 100 degrees and we are doing inside activities:
Catching up on emails and computer things.
Laundry
Trimming the dog
making monsters for Halloween

scrapbooking
going to the Borgata to see Dh play with his band

We've been on the go all week so today I need to catchup on my housework. Tonight we have dinner plans with friends.

So far I've done a load of laundry and now I'm at my DS watching my DGD til bout 4. I'll stop on my way home and pick up groceries.

Good morning. Hmmmm, I'm drinking coffee while quietly catching up here. DH just got home from work awhile ago and is now sleeping...I hope. He had an emergency dental trip yesterday and has only had about 4 hours of sleep since Thursday afternoon! Today is grocery shopping day and we are going to meet his brother and SIL for dinner. We may take the bike out for an evening ride to cool off. Hope everyone is staying safe and cool in this heat, it's already 77 degrees at 9 and it's suppose to hit over 100 with the heat index.

Going to do one load of laundry (towels).

Then...heading out for a day of errands and shopping. The WM is an hour away, and there's another grocery store I need to hit. Ugh. I hate Saturday shopping. Poor planning.
