Saving Saturday, July 16

Slept in late again. Walked to the store for some cheese and bread. Will try to reorganize the coat closet today. Somehow could only muster opening it.

Another lazy summer day here. Will be the last day of humidity free weather here for a while.

Woke up today w/a slight hangover

~ my BFF is finally getting married

in 2 weeks after being w/her fiance' for 5 years!! So last night was the bachelorette party & we did a party bus & had a scavenger hunt, went to a club & danced

& got some of the things "needed" on our lists, as well as a little more buzzed than necessary over the course of the evening! Not a frugal night but sure one that will be remembered with silly giggles as we had a lot of "teenage girl fun" w/drinking involved (& being responsible!!)!!

SO~ Today... we are in recovery & being thankful that while we will enjoy being a little stupid every 4-10 years or so, that is no longer our lifestyle! & today means back to business!

Today I have to get MOST of the laundry done, the party craziness picked up (as we had it here & my DH took our 2 boys to the movies & went to a hotel so we could have the house for the party) & we have, not 1 but TWO (2) birthday parties to go to!! So that's our day ...

I'm waiting for it to get overcast so it's cool enough to go out and add some soil to my garden. I'm toasting some odds and ends of bread I froze to process into bread crumbs and am about to soak some leftover dried beans and cook them with a ham bone. I'll eat them with my lunch this week.

I have had a busy week so hanging out at home today is nice.

Got laundry done
shredded junk mail
not feeling like going to grocery store today so will be finding something here tonight for dinner.

Tonight i can read my book or watch my netflix.

Have not spent a penny today it is has been weeks since this has happened!!

Its my day off!! yay!!
slept in!!
cooked breakfast.
loaded dishwasher.
washed clothes.
I am thinking I will be needing a nap soon!!
Not planning on doing too much more today!!

We went to the swapmeet today and then to visit my MIL at the convalescent home. Then home to wash my car and get hubby some rest before he goes to work. So, now I'm doing laundry and relaxing with the kiddos.
