Question Will you pass any antiques down to your kids?

I'm planning on it and hoping that they will continue to pass down the antiques to their kids.

    How about you?

My kids call my old stuff "My junk". I guess having it around for so long, they are tired of looking at it. The Granddaughters have fallen in love with different items and I hope to pass those items down to them.

Yes! Since my mil owns an antique shoppe in the Pittsburgh area, we have a ton of them here. My dd's will get them once I no longer feel like having so many pieces of furniture to take care of.

Yes!!!! My children have already been picking out the items that they want. LOL! The most precious item, my wedding ring with the middle stone from my great grandmother's wedding ring is the most coveted prize here. The deal is that I will give it to the first grand daughter that my son and future DIL's let me name! I don't think that will ever really happen, but I can dream!!!

Yes several. And some that will get passed down to me hopefully in the way far off future. My grandmother never had a doll growing up and her first doll my grandfather got her on their wedding day. That was 50 years ago this June. Now she has over 300 dolls which are like family to everyone.I hope to keep them in the family for along time.

I have an antique book collection that I'd like to pass on to my children. I feel a sense of wonderment when I read them. How many other's have held them, read them and what did they think?

Which ever one shows an interest will get them or I'll divvie them up?
