Great Thrift Store Deals!
Whoohoo!!!! I am so excited! Got my mom's Christmas gift today at the local charity thrift store. A beautiful Koret black dress jacket with multi colored threads woven thru it. Looks like it has never been worn. My mom is in a retirement home and they dress for dinner and this will be beautiful to wear with about any color! Only $1!!!!
Also bought a new Yankee Candle in Raspberry Sorbet for $3 and a beautiful pewter cross for $4.
LOVE thrift shopping!

I went to our Goodwill and another town's Goodwill yesterday. I also went to two other thrift stores. I got an AE top and cami for youngest daughter for $4. Looks like it has never been worn. At my GW, I got a pair of Adidas track pants, just like new and two shirts for me that were new. Went to another GW in Marion and got youngest a hoodie and me a like new Coach wallet! I think I spent less than $30 dollars for all of my finds.

I got five new bras, tags still on, for $9. Four of them were originally sold for $17 each.
I also got a really exciting set of 'innards' for a toilet for $1, which I needed.
And a ball of green crochet cotton, never opened, for .49. I picked it up first and thought I'd get out of there for only .49!
Alas, the latch hook canvas I went in there for was gone.
I was also told that the food processor/juicer I had donated a few days ago didn't last the morning on the day it was put out. I'm glad someone wanted it! And it's out of my cabinet.

I got the hubby a camo hunting coat the other day for $ 2. It has a broken zipper at the base. I think it is called the stops. But the snaps all work. He can wear it as is. I don't want to price a new zipper, this one is 28 inches.
I got a real nice mandoline recently for $ 2. It's really heavy and it retailed new for $ 20.

I pick up zippers at garage sales when I see them. Having spares comes in handy!

I have a few zippers here somewhere. Doubt I have the long heavy ones though. I am hoping that maybe the base starting point can be fixed instead of replacing. Maybe.

This happened several years back. I was in the thrift store and found this really nice black purse. Bucket style, long strap.
I checked the price and went THUD. Almost $ 20. I asked the cashier what was so special about that purse. She said it was a Coach. I go like...huh....okay. Then I asked her, if she would sit it under the counter so I could go home, and ask the hubby if I could buy it. Told her the budget was tight. So I go home and get on the computer. Looked that purse up, and it is $ 300 new on the website. Then I went THUD again. Called the store back and told her, I would be back in for the purse and to hold it for me. I didn't need hubby's permission, but it sure sounded good. No way was I telling the clerk, I was a dummy about high priced purses. About a week later, I picked up another coach purse there. I sold that one on ebay for nice money
The current purse, I use a lot is a leather one also. I forget the brand name, but I found it at a garage sale for $ 2. At the time, I picked it up, I had no need for it. Glad I stored it for awhile.

I do too. Also at thrift stores, if cheap and not packaged together! I want to check them first.
Have a JA coupon? They aren't too bad.

I just got some very long zippers (like six or eight feet) at our GW, a half dozen or so of them for $3. Most of them separate. I had been eying them for a month but didn't have an immediate use for them so didn't want to part with $6. But they were still there when it was time for them to be half price, so I snapped them up. I need one every once in a while, so I'm glad to have them on hand.
