Motorhome Curtains with Pictures
I spent 2 days last week making 7 sets of curtains with tiebacks for our motorhome.
The fabric is a multicolored stripe that I found in MIL's estate items. It is heavy upholstery/drapery fabric with Scotchguard that I've been holding on to for 10 years, lol.
We used to have white miniblinds on all of the windows and these curtains give it a much more homey feeling and don't clatter and bang against the walls and windows when we're driving down the road.
The first picture is of the curtains I made to cover the driving/doghouse area. I used a king sized beige sheet to make the privacy curtains that divide one bedroom area from the other and since I ran out of striped fabric I used the sheet to make the bottom part of this curtain. It matches really well and looks neat.
The 2nd picture shows the curtains on the windows. I made a mistake and cut "all" of the curtains shorter than they should have been and not allowing for the hem and casing. Stupid mistake but turned out to my advantage. I was able to make-do with the shorter curtains and because of the mistake, I was able to make the curtains over the driving area. So, worked out good. LOL.

Remember the old sewing adadge-sewing can fix most anything cutting does. I like your curtains. My mom made our for our small trailers we used to camp in when I was a kid. We had some w/ cowboys. Who knows where that material came from.LOL Enjoy.

It's the perfect colors/pattern to match your sofa in there. Really livens up the space too.
Nice work!

They're great! So many motorhome windows are treated as if they belonged to a mansion. Yours show the spirit of freedom that belongs in a motorhome!

You did a very nice job on the curtains. The color of the strips goes very well in your motorhome.
