Question Have you ever been bored with life

Never!! I have so much to do and so many things to get done and so many places and people to visit, that life has never been boring for me.

    You?

Sometimes. I feel bored with staying home all day. Then I get online or go visit friends and it passes.

I can't say I have been really bored. I can say that my life was very fast forward for a lot of years and then I got married and everything slowed down drastically. The contrast between now and then sometimes causes me to feel like I am not doing enough or haven't accomplished as much as I wanted to.
I usually then take on a new project and all is good in the world again.
Of course now with the baby and a preschooler, life is a bit overwhelming. LOL

MANY times I have felt bored with life!

Mostly because I allowed situations to dictate my mental frame of mind.

I have a lot of interests, as long as I can stay focused and not under the circumstances, I am happy and chipper.

I have lots of 'things' to do and our life goes from one drama to another. For example I spent 6 months of my life LIVING in hospital with one of my babies while running back and forth trying to look after the other 4!

However I am nearly always bored with LIFE. I just keep on and on thinking - there MUST be more to it than this surely (mustn't there?)

Oh, yes! My life this past year has been more boring than not. Hopefully the next two years here will not be so bad. Like Heaven said, You do get used to it to a certain extent.

Since leaving work almost 2 years ago I notice I am bored occassionaly. Mostly I miss adult interaction. But no, I can usually find something to do. By not having children, my time is my own, so if it is a nice sunny day and I don't feel like cleaning the kitchen or doing laundry, I can just hop in my car and go for a drive if I feel like it.

Yes, I find when I am not at work, I tend to get bored, but I don't want to spend money, so I end up watching T.V or going on the computer. I know I need to spend a little money (take a course or something) but I've been in the pay off debt stage for so long, I am scared I will go wild and start spending again!! So, for me, it's more of a money issue.

I hate to admit to it but yes, I have been bored with my life for a long time now. Now, that's not saying that I'm bored on a daily basis because I always, always have something to do and work on and I keep quite busy and happy. But as for being bored with life in general? I pretty much stay home most of the time - no vehicle to be able to go and for the past 4-5 years when I did have a car, I had no one to go anywhere with.

I love traveling and it's been many years since I've been able to do so and I really miss it.

    - - I realize that this is a way old post but it popped up and so thought I'd try to revive it.

I never get bored (ever), but there are days where I purposely retract myself from all daily life (gardening, cleaning, whatever have you) so I can have a day of rest and relaxation, and I love those days so much.

I've been tired, sick, overworked, but never what I would call bored. It has been very hard for me to accept I have ALS and I can no longer do the things I loved like running, swimming laps, or walking the beach, but I've found other things to replace them.

I make a real effort to meet people, cultivate friendships, and attend gatherings when my health permits.

I have no family so friendships mean a great deal to me.

When I'm alone, I get lost in a good book, send and receive e-mails, and trust God will see me through.

short term and long term yes! if it is just a boring day of work well it will pass. if it is long term then I figure out what it is that causing it. life is about choices so sometimes it is because you can't do want you want to do because I am being responsible like saving for retirement lol or as the subject of money came up with my teen ..about choices spending on wants except needs. told him I could be doing other things with my money and he can eat beans and rice every day but I don't and spend more money groceries instead of vegas!
